Description

Hosta ‘Wu La La’ is one of the largest and most dramatic hostas available, prized for its bold variegation, thick textured foliage, and impressive architectural presence in shade gardens.

🌿 Detailed Description

Hosta ‘Wu La La’ (Shadowland Series) is a giant, clump‑forming perennial with deeply veined, dark blue‑green leaves edged in striking apple‑green margins. The foliage is thick, substantial, and heart‑shaped, forming an upright, cascading mound that becomes a major focal point in any shaded planting.

This cultivar is celebrated for its sheer size: mature plants reach 90–120 cm tall and spread 150–180 cm, creating a lush, dramatic presence. In early to mid‑summer, it produces racemes of violet, funnel‑shaped flowers held just above the foliage, adding seasonal interest without detracting from the bold leaves.
